The Pacific Aerials P6501 HF/SSB LongReach Antenna is designed for fishos who demand the best. It is
superbly finished with glossy UltraGlass and stainless steel
ferrules to enhance the appearance and strength of the antenna.
UltraGlass stands up to high UV and harsh marine environments for
years. The radiating element is wholly enclosed inside the Radome.
This is suitable for both marine and landbased HF or SSB
installations and includes an antenna tuner. The stainless steel
mount for this antenna can be side or deck mounted.

Two section antenna
The Pacific Aerials P6501 HF/SSB LongReach Antenna has two sections. The longest section is 2.45
metres long and the antenna gradually tapers to an outside diameter
of 7mm at the top.

Installation
The polypropylene support bracket should be mounted approximately
900mm up from the base of the antenna (marked on the antenna
Radome) HF/SSB antennas require a high standard of installation to
work correctly. The ground system is a key part of the overall
antenna system. A poor ground system is the most common reason for
poor antenna performance. It is extremely important that the
antenna location and grounding system are correctly chosen so that
the system will radiate effectively.The longest possible antenna
should be chosen for each installation.
